Buccaneers Rugby Club are one of the biggest rugby club’s in the county competing in the All-Ireland league and developing current Irish internationals Robbie Henshaw and Jack Carty.

Covid-19 has been a serious impact to the midland club with and their impressive facilities been brought to a total stop.

Club Secretary Michael Cleary explains to Dave Hooper the impact that covid-19 has had on the club’s community and his hopes for rugby’s growth post pandemic.
