A new EY Ireland survey has found that two-thirds of companies in Ireland are not confident they could reach carbon neutrality by 2030.
A locally conducted survey of Irish businesses also found that over half identified poor quality reporting as a significant challenge, and nearly 60% of businesses don't have science-based carbon emission targets.
The research was conducted by EY to understand the degree of readiness among Irish organisations around sustainability and the changes that lie ahead.

Stephen Prendiville, Head of Sustainability at EY Ireland says "it's undeniable that the time to act is now and businesses have a very real responsibility".
