Just recently, Cavan Credit Union issued a warning to its customers to be aware of a particularly convincing telephone scam. In this instance, the scammers claim to be calling from the Credit Union Card Security team. What is even more alarming is the fact that the person on the other end of the phone will already have your name and the first four digits of your card number.
