Deputy Bennett calls for women's voices to be heard. A number of events have taken place across the Northern Sound region this week to mark International Women's Day. Indeed, it officially takes place tomorrow, March 8th. Cavan - Monaghan TD Cathy Bennett attended the National Women's Council event to launch "A Feminist Shared Future". Furthermore, members of the Blayney Blades and the Monaghan Women's Assembly travelled to Stormont yesterday as part of a cross-border initiative to celebrate International Women's Day.
