James Spring says the issue of housing has been ongoing since the end of the Celtic Tiger era. And, the housing issue exacerbated by the pandemic. Indeed, leading to increased demand from people relocating from urban to rural areas; due to remote work. Moreover, this has intensified competition, especially from buyers moving from higher-priced areas like Dublin and the West Coast, to more affordable locations.
