Country legend Margo O'Donnell has paid tribute to her long-time friend and fellow musician Henry McMahon who passed away on Sunday.
The late Henry McMahon was a renowned musician, songwriter, band leader, promoter and music manager who was an integral part of the country music scene for up on six decades.
He became known to thousands of country music followers as the band leader and announcer with Big Tom and The Mainliners.
His songs were recorded by country stars including Philomena Begley and Margo herself as well as Robert Mizzell to name but a few.
Margo said she has many memories of Henry since they first met in 1966.
