Almost €400,000 announced for the Tyrone Guthrie Centre in Newbliss. Furthermore, others locally to benefit from the arts council funding were; the Ramor Theatre; the Town Hall Cavan; and the Garage Theatre in Monaghan Town. Indeed, €102,000 announced for the Ramor and the Town hall while €66,000 announced for the Garage Theatre.
Moreover, nationally, 175 grants were awarded to organisations, art centres and arts studios across the country. The funding stream that the Tyrone Guthrie Centre received was through the Strategically Funded programme.
