Andy Moran appears set to be named as the next Leitrim intercounty senior manager. The Former Mayo senior footballer retired from the intercounty scene in 2019 and has been recenlty linked with a number of counties including Longford in recent weeks. However it now looks certain that he will fill the position vacated by Terry Hyland earlier this year and raise the possiblity of managing against his native county should they meet in the championship. The 2017 footballer of the year is currently part of the management team with Ballaghaderreen who will be senior club championship action this weekend in Mayo. Leitrim will compete in Division 4 of the league in 2022, having failed to win a game in this years competition.
