Castleblayney looking to make it back to back titles

Junior champions Truagh will provide the opposition

Senior hurling county final day in Monaghan would not seem complete with out Castleblayney in attendance and they are looking to make it back to back titles having contested every decider since 2016 with the only loss been in 2023 to Inniskeen.

Marc Treanor is captain of the county champions and he noted that the quality of the panel contributes to their annual appearance in the decider

Truagh are back in the senior hurling final in Monaghan following back to back Junior titles in 2023 and 2024. They know they  face a tough test against Castleblayney who are the defending senior champions.

Captain Mathew Flood and club chairperson Kieran Mc Kenna were in attendance at the recent media evening with Kieran noting firstly to Sean Mc Caffrey that their main target for this year was to make the senior final
