Cavan have named their starting 15 to face Tyrone in the final group game of the All Ireland series. Liam Brady retains the number 1 jersey with Niall Carolan, Killan Brady and Cian Reilly making up the half back line. Brian O'Connell, Ciaran Brady and Padraig Faulkner are in the half back line with Ryan Donohoe and Evan Crowe at the centre of the field. Gerard Smith, Dara Mc Veety and Oisin Brady are the half forward line with Cormac O'Reilly, Paddy Lynch and Cian Madden completing the starting 15. Gearoid McKiernan is named among the subs, however injury has ruled James Smith out of the 26 man panel.
Group 1 throws in at 4pm on Sunday evening as Donegal face Mayo in King and Moffatt Dr. Hyde Park and Cavan take on Tyrone in Brewster Park. With all 4 teams on 2 points, anyone can top the group and any of them can be out of the championship depending on results. Wins obviously will secure the teams progression while draws in both games would see Cavan drop out on score difference. A win for Donegal and a loss for Cavan would end Mayo's interest for the year on the head to head. While wins for the Westeners and the Breffni county would see Jim Mc Guinness's side exit the championship. There is plenty of other permutations in what is a real group of death.
