Cavan landed their first win of the Allianz league division four with a five point win over Lancashire.
Two first-half goals from Mark Moffett set Cavan up for victory as the Breffni side led 2-14 to nine points at half time.
Lancashire made a late comeback, however there was too much work to do as Cavan scored a 2-20 to 2-15 win.

Monaghan’s promotion hopes are all but over after a heavy defeat to Leitrim. Leitirm winning out 1-20 to 1-10 in Inniskeen.
Brendan McQuaid found the net for Monaghan mid-way through the first-half. However, X X found the net for Leitrim as Leitrim led 1-13 to 1-5 at half-time.
Indeed, Leitrim had the better of a low scoring second-half going onto register a 10-point victory, 1-20 to 1-10.
