Emyvale progressed to the Ulster junior football final after a 14-point win over Munterconnaught.
Emyvale took the lead with points from Niall McKenna, Harvey Colleran and Karl Gallagher. After 17 minutes they lead four points to two.
Further points from Dylan Sherry and Niall McKenna brought a low scoring first half to an end. Emyvale holding a one point lead at the break, five points to four.
Ben Ryan and Aidan McKenna added points either side of a Matthew Finn two-pointer as Emyvale moved into a five-point lead after 54 minutes.
A Harvey Colleran point was followed by a Niall McKenna goal, extending the Emyvale lead with three minutes of additional time played at the end of the second-half.
Indeed, Emyvale didn’t stop there. Finishing strongly with Niall McKenna, Aidan McKenna and Karl Gallagher rounding off a strong performance for the Monaghan champions.
Emyvale progressing to the provincial decider with 14 points to spare, winning out 1-19 to 0-8.
