James Horan side have not had a competitive game in almost 6 weeks

Saturday evening will see Monaghan making the trip to Castlebar to take on Mayo in the All Ireland qualifiers at 4pm. The Westener's have confirmed that Michael Plunkett will miss that game through injury, but Oisin Mullen should be available. Rumours have circulated of a number of injury concerns in the Mayo camp who haven't had a competitive game in almost 6 weeks since going out of the provincial championship to Galway. Regular GAA commentator Fergal Monaghan noted that they are county that seem to suffer a lot of injuries
