Iniskeen will face Scotstown in the 2025 Monaghan Senior Football Championship after a second-half comeback win over Magheracloone.
Indeed, Alan McCahey (2pt) and Allan Kierans 0-3 (2pt) got Magheracloone’s early scores.
Andrew Woods and Ciaran McNulty got Iniskeen on the board before a two-pointer from Sean Jones really put a statement out for Iniskeen.
Magheracloone went three points ahead again before Jones recorded another two-pointer to leave two points between the sides at half-time. Magheracloone leading eight points to six.
Iniskeen stated the brighter in the second-half and led for the first time, two minutes after the restart. Jones recorded another two-pointer.
From this point, John McEntee’s side never looked out of control. An Andrew Woods two-point free giving them a five point advantage on 43 minutes.
Whereas, two Points from Sean Jones and two from Donal Meegan pushed Inniskeen 19-points to 10 ahead on 21 minutes.
Iniskeen continued to push home their advantage and dominance and booked their place in the final with a 23 points to 12 points victory.
