It’s set to be a busy weekend of GAA action with the Monaghan intermediate and senior finals set to throw-in.
On Saturday, Carrickmacross face Killanny in a repeat of the 2023 intermediate final in Paric Gratten Inniskeen at 4pm.
Carrick enter the game as favourites. Regular GAA commentator Fergal Monaghan believes they will have learned from their surprise loss two-years ago.
The Divsion 2 minor final between Magheracloone and Aughnamullen is the curtain raiser to that fixture.
Whereas, Sunday will see St. Tiernachs Park, Clones host the Monaghan senior final. Scotstown who are looking to complete three-in-a-row take on Inniskeen. interestingly in what is a repeat also of the 2023 decider.
The defending champions are the favourites to pick up their 24th title while the Grattens are in search of a first senior championship title since 1948.
