Round 3 of the Senior football championship throws in this weekend in Monaghan with plenty to play for in both groups. Round 2 seen Scotstown enter the fray with a draw against Clontibret, Latton and Inniskeen made it 2 wins from 2 with victories over Magheracloone and Aughnamullen respectively while Corduff picked up their first points with a comfortable win over Truagh and it was that game that both Sean Mc Caffrey and Fergal Monaghan reflected back on with Fergal noting that the loss for Corduff in the opening round to Clontibret had no doubt fired them up
