Josh Moffett made it back to back rally wins as he added a national championship victory in Birr to his Irish tarmac win in West Cork from 2 weeks ago. The Monaghan driver who had Keith Morrarity on the notes took the victory in his Toyota Yaris finishing 6.2 seconds ahead of the Ford Fiesta of Longford driver Shane Quinn who had Stephen Reynolds on the notes. Kevin Eves and Chris Melly completed the podium by taking 3rd place in a Skoda. The Cavan pairing of Aaron Mc Intyre and Darren O'Brien were the best of the modifieds as they took an excellent 9th overall in their Toyota Starlet finishing 100th of a second ahead of fellow Breffni driver Jonathaon Pringle in the Ford Escort.
