The Monaghan Junior championship has a format similar to the senior competition with two groups of five teams.
Whereas, each team plays two homes games and two away games and has a bye week.
Indeed, Representatives from the clubs were in attendance at the recent launch night where Sean McCaffrey spoke to members of the teams.
Sean, first spoke to James Bellew and Johnny Wright from Emyvale who are seen as the favourites to make the step back up.
James noted that they were disappointed to make the drop from intermediate.
Group two of the Junior championship is made up of Aghabog, Rockcorry, Oram Eire Og and Blackhill. Sean spoke to representatives from the teams, firstly getting the thoughts of Oisin Glesson from the Aghabog club
