A two point win in tough conditions saw Monaghan claim the Ulster minor league title at the Rock St. Patricks GAA ground in Dungannon this afternoon.
The concession of two first-half goals didn’t deter in their efforts after Tyrone struck to raise the green flag on two occasions. After six minutes and again on 25 minutes.
Monaghan rallied in the second-half and got their first goal after 38 minutes.
Three minutes later they had their second goal when they were awarded a penalty which was converted.
Whereas, the teams traded scores and were tied on 60 minutes. However, Monaghan just about did enough to claim the minor league title in Dungannon.
