Both Monaghan and Cavan hurlers are on their travels this weekend in the Lory Meagher cup. Paric na H'Eireann in Birminagham is set to host a double header as Cavan take on Lancashire at 12 on Sunday and that will be followed by the meeting of Monaghan and Warwickshire at 2pm. The Farney side got their first points on the board last Sunday with a derby win over Cavan. Manager Arthur Hughes knows it will be a tricky assingment over in Birmingham but they are going on the momentum of having gotten points on the board
The other key fixture in that competition is the meeting of Leitrim and Longford on Sunday in Carrick on Shannon. Both sides are unbeaten after their opening 2 games
