Monaghan into the Ulster U20 championship final

Monaghan will contest the Ulster U20 championship final following their 3-13 to 1-09 win over Armagh last night (Wednesday) in the Box-It Athletic grounds. Max Mc Ginnity's goal separated the sides at the break with the visitors leading 1-06 to 6 points and while Aaron Mc Guinness pulled one back for the Orchard county, Killan Kerans marked his introduction as a substitute by hitting the net twice in quick succession with fellow sub Tommy Mallon assisting on both occasions. Having begun the campaign with back to back defeats, manager Paul O'Connor noted his delight to Sean Mc Caffrey at having reached the decider

Tyrone will provide the opposition after they overcame Donegal in the other semi final by 12 points to 8. The final is fixed for next Wednesday night at 7:35 in the Box-It Athletic Grounds
