The GAA intercounty season will reach its conclusion over the coming 2 weekends with the All Ireland hurling final throwing in this Sunday in Croke Park as Limerick go in search of a 4 in a row when they take on Kilkenny while Kerry will looking to make it back to back football titles at the end of the month when they take on Dublin in the football decider. Ulster sides Derry and Monaghan did reach the last 4 of the football championship with the Farney side in particular surprising many by their progress as they failed to reach their provincial decider. Speaking on sports beat last night former player Paul Finlay remarked a lot of credit must go to the managment team headed by Vinny Corey who only took up the role in the later part of last year
