Monaghan name team to face Roscommon

St Tiernachs Park Clones will host the encounter

Monaghan have named their team to take on Roscommon in Round 2B of the All Ireland championship tomorrow  (Saturday) in St Tiernachs Park Clones. There is a return for Ryan Wylie who has been named at corner back wtih Killan Lavelle at full back and Dylan Byrne in the other corner. Rory Beggan as always has the number 1 jersey while Dessie Ward, Ryan O'Toole and Conor Mc Carthy are in the half back line. Michael Mc Carville and Karl Gallagher are at the centre of the field with Aaron Carey, Michael Bannigan and Oisin Mc Gorman in the half forward line. Jack Mc Carron, Andrew Woods and David Garland complete the starting 15. Ryan Mc Anespie is named on the bench and there is also a return for Darragh Mc Elearney after his red card in the Ulster final. His club team mate Tom Doherty is also named on the 26 man panel. Have trailled by 12 points at one stage against Mayo in Round 1, Monaghan did reduce the defecit but came up short in a 1 point defeat. Regular GAA commentator Fergal Monaghan believes Roscommon will be controlled in their play and it would be important that the farney side stay with them

Roscommon have also named their team with one key player set to miss out as Enda Smith is not part of the match day panel
