There will be no further suspensions handed out in the wake of the clash between Kerry and Donegal. It's reported that the C-C-C-C have ruled that all incidents were dealt with by referee Sean Hurson on the field. It means that Donegal boss Jim McGuinness and Kerry forward David Clifford will avoid punishment over separate incidents seen during match coverage. However both counties are expected to be fined over the half-time melee.
Round 2 of the All Ireland football series will throw in this coming weekend with both Cavan and Monaghan in action. It has been a long lay off for the Breffni side as they get their first outing in almost 6 weeks, following their quarter final loss to Monaghan in the Ulster championship. A meeting with the newly crowned Leinster champions Westmeath awaits them in Cusack Park Mullingar on Saturday evening at 5pm Monaghan meanwhile welcome Mayo to St Tiernachs Park Clones on Sunday at 4pm. The Westeners last outing was on April 26th when they lost to Roscommon in the Connacht semi final while Monaghan contested the Ulster final last Sunday week. The other 2 fixtures will see Dublin taking on Louth in Croke Park while Armagh face Derry in the Box-it Athletic grounds.
