Saudi Arabia have produced one of the biggest upsets in World Cup history as they have beaten one of the tournament favourites Argentina 2-1 in Group C. Lionel Messi had handed Argentina the lead from the penalty spot on 10 minutes and the South Americans had three goals ruled out for offside in the first half. But Saleh Al-Shehri equalised three minutes into the second half and six minutes later, Salem Al Dawsari's shot found the bottom corner. The result ended an unbeaten run of 36 games for the Argentinians. The other Group C match today sees Mexico and Poland meet at 4pm, Irish time.
