Search for Monaghan Manager rolls into another week

Kieran McGeeney is to continue as Armagh senior football manager. This year saw the Orchard County finish third in Division One, and they reached the All Ireland quarter-finals where they lost a fiery affair to eventual finalists Galway on penalties. 2023 will be McGeeney’s ninth year in the Armagh hot-seat. Meanwhile the search for a new Monaghan manager is set to continue, it was rumoured that the former Minor manager Mark Counihan was set to take over from Seamus Mc Enaney who stepped down early last month, however a number of other candidates are now believed to be in the hat including Jason Sherlock who has also been linked to the position.
