Investment in nurses would allow reintroduction of services to Monaghan Hospital says INMO

An increase in the number of nurses would allow the reintroduction of more services at Monaghan Hospital, according to the INMO.

A meeting on the future of the hospital heard from local politicians, the nurses union and hospital campaigners. The panel discussed how services could and should be returned to the hospital almost ten years since its closure.

Speaking after the meeting Tony Fitzpatrick said it was clear by the crowd in attendance the community is passionate about the issue and wish to see services restored.
