Irish Water being called on to dilute the water supply in Carrickmacross

Irish Water is being called on to dilute the water supply in Carrickmacross to reduce the level of lime.

Sinn Féin Councillor Colm Carthy claims the current level of hard water in the local supply is hitting people in the pocket.

He says people are having to replace their household appliances, such as water tanks, washing machines and kettles on a regular basis due to hard water.
