All Island Brexit meeting to discuss the transport sector is being held today

An all Island meeting to discuss Brexit in relation to the transport sector is being held today.

The meeting in The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Dundalk aims to have a focused and practical discussion of the key implications of Brexit in respect of the Transport sector for the whole island of Ireland.

It’s expected that rural transport in areas like Cavan and Monaghan will be discussed at the event which hopes to generate a broader exchange of views on the issues identified.

The meeting is being held as part of the Irish Government’s consultative work on Brexit and to facilitate a more detailed consideration of the impact across key sectors.
