Latest ATM theft takes place in Antrim

A digger has been used to rip an ATM from the wall of a shop in Co. Antrim, with investigations continuing into local incidents.

The incident happened in Market Square in Bushmills in the early hours of this morning. The area has been closed and police in the North are appealing for information.

It’s the latest in a series of cash machine thefts on both sides of the border since the start of the year. Investigations into incidents in Ballybay, Kingscourt and Castleblayney are continuing, with Gardaí calling on anyone with information to get in touch.
