Leona Maguire in "The Race to the CME Globe"

Leona Maguire will tee off at the Tour championship grand final in Naples Florida later on this evening (Thursday).

Only 72 players will take part in the competition, with entry gained by accumulating points from scoring competitions held during the season.

Played over 72 holes, there is no cut in the competition, giving all players an equal opportunity to play for the 1.1 million winners prize, while their is a prize purse of 5 million euro.

Completing her rookie year as a professional, it is a fantastic achievement for the Cavan golfer to have made the field and she will be joined by fellow Irish golfer Stephanie Meadow.

Leona is due to tee off at 7:55 Irish time.
