Leona Maguire took joint fifth place at the Omega Dubai Moonlight Classic after a final round of two under par.
Maguire opened the day with three birdies on the front nine, pulling herself right back into contention for the top prize, however two bogies on the back nine made her settle for fifth place.
Maguire had shot a course record eight under par, 64 on day one but dropped shots saw her fall off the pace for the second round with a three over par 75.
The Cavan woman was in flying form on day three with birdies on the par 5, third and fifth and a bird on the sixth.
Another birdie followed on the 11th, but bogies on 12 and 18 put paid to a charge up the leader to see Maguire finish on -7, three shots behind Spain’s Nuria Iturrios.
Maguire pocketed €8,529 for the tournament, finished joint fifth with Caroline Hedwall. Iturrios wining out on -10 to retain the title she won 12 months ago.
Germans Olivia Cowan and Esther Henseleit shared second place with nine under par with Karolin Lampert taking fourth place on eight under par.
Lisa Maguire shot a four over par 76 to finish the tournament on +11.
