Leona Maguire claimed her second Symetra tour tournament when she claimed the Symetra Classic in North Carolina by five strokes.
Maguire shot a five under par 67 to finish on 10 under for the tournament, five shots clear of Brittany Benvenuto and New Zealand’s Stephanie Na.
Five birdies saw Maguire to victory at the Symetra Classic only carding four bogeys for the three day tournament.
The victory netted the Cavan woman $26,250 and almost secures her full LPGA card for next season.
The win means Maguire goes top of the Volvik Race for the card rankings with earnings of $73,790, over $20,000 clear of her nearest challenger.
