Lisa Maguire is stepping away from the professional game on the greens to take up a role in management in the sport with Modest Golf Management.
The 24-year-old Cavan woman represented Europe in the Junior Solheim Cup and the Junior Ryder Cup and had been playing on tour for the last 18 months.
Maguire was 120th on the European Ladies Tour’s Access Series this season and will now make the move into golf management.
On Twitter the Cavan native noted it was a difficult decision to make but was moving onto the next chapter of her golfing journey and did not see it as an ending to her playing days but the turning of the page and looking forward to the continuation of an exciting story.
