Local beef farmers are losing up to €400 a head on cattle this spring, prompting protests and calls for supports for the sector.
The IFA protested outside a Cabinet meeting in Cork this week, with the Beef Plan Movement planning another outside an event to be attended by the Agriculture Minister next week.
