Local Green Party representative says parties can show real leadership by entering unity government

A Monaghan Green Party representative says national parties can show real leadership by entering a unity government.

Tate Donnelly said the Dáil should work together to keep the country going forward and allow all spokespersons to lead collectively.

He said Fine Gael and Fianna Fail weren’t ambitious enough on climate for the Green Party to consider negotiating a long term plan on power.

Speaking to Shannonside Northern Sound News, Tate Donnelly said the focus now has to be on the pandemic.
