Local journalist still unsure Britain will leave the EU without a deal in October

A local journalist stated he is still unsure that Britain will leave the EU without a deal in October, despite what the candidates in the Tory leadership race say.

In recent weeks there have been growing fears in Ireland that if Britain leave the EU on the 31st of October without a deal that there could be significant economic impacts.

These concerns specifically centre around a decrease in house prices, online trading and transactions and impacts on local businesses trading in the UK.

However, Michael McDonnell journalist with the Northern Standard isn’t sure that a no deal scenario will happen as the parliament in Britain is still largely opposed to it:
