More Post Offices will close if there isn’t an increase in the services they provide.

The Irish Postmaster’s Union’s annual conference at the weekend heard calls for the Government and An Post to provide for the expansion and retention of services provided by Post Offices.

A contract has been introduced for the majority of Postmasters, and An Post has rebranded the Network, introducing new financial services however, despite this they say very little progress has been made.
