Local schools in Dublin for Road Safety Authority poster final

Three local schools are in Dublin today for the final of the Road Safety Authority’s poster competition.

Both First Class and Second Class pupils from Killyconnon National School in Stradone, as well as students from Scoil Naomh Padraig, Corracrin and Scoil Eanna Ballybay are attending the event. The overall winners of the First and Second Class competitions will be announced later, as well as the “Public Awards” which was decided by the posters that got the most likes on Facebook.

Speaking ahead of travelling to Dublin, these students from Scoil Naomh Padraig told Northern Sound News what they learned from the “Seatbelt Sheriff”.
