The loss of 16 jobs at Liberty Insurance in Cavan has been described as a blow. The company confirmed to Northern Sound News that are to be “impacted” after an “operational review”.
In a statement it said the review of the company’s Finance function has led to this decision, which is reported to have come as a shock to staff. Following the announcement local Councillor Brendan Fay says the decision has led to fear that other jobs at the facility might be at risk.
