Lotto players in Cavan urged to check tickets as €265,000 prize goes unclaimed

A €265,000 prize which was won in Cavan in Tuesday night’s Euromillions draw still hasn’t been claimed.

The National Lottery is urging all lotto players in the county to check their ticket.

The Match 5 and Lucky Star ticket, was just one number short of winning the €49 million jackpot, was sold in the Applegreen Service Station on the Dublin Road in Kingscourt on Sunday.

The winning EuroMillions Plus numbers are: 1, 2, 5, 15, 42 and the Lucky Stars were 5 and 8.

It was Cavan’s second Euromillions win in the space of a week, following a €500,000 prize which was scooped by a player in Bailieborough on the 28th of July.
