Loughan House Open Prison in Cavan has returned to normal operations following a Covid-19 outbreak.
At the start of the month, five prisoners tested positive for the virus.
As a precaution, mass testing of all staff and 93 prisoners was carried out to prevent the further spread.

The Irish Prison Service says the low security facility is returning to a normal regime after the testing programme was completed.
