Leona Maguire scored the best performance of her professional career when as she had to settle for a share of fourth spot at the IOA Championship in California.
The Cavan golfer took a one shot lead going into the final round but had an awful front nine that included four bogeys and a double-bogey.
However Maguire recovered strongly on the back nine and recorded nine pars and a birdie from the 10th hole, to a round of 77.
Maguire finished just two shots behind the winner Jillian Hollis from the USA.
Hollis posted a four over par round of 74 on Sunday, with a birdie on the 15th and an eagle on the par five 16th proving decisive in her one-shot victory.
