Man appears before courts in connection with theft and criminal damage in Cavan church in January

A man has appeared before the courts in connection with theft and criminal damage in a Cavan church in January.

On the 21^st of January this year, Gardai in Belturbet began investigating incidents of both criminal damage and theft at St Patrick’s Church, Drumalee where the culprit was reported to have entered the Church and forced open a candelabra.

On Friday a man in his early twenties appeared before Ballyshannon District Court charged in connection with this incident.

Gardai have thanked the members of the local community for their assistance during this investigation.
