A man has died following a crash on the M1 motorway outside Dundalk.
The collision, involving a lorry and a car happened at around 5 o'clock this morning.
The driver of the car, a man in his 30s was fatally injured while the lorry driver, a man in his 40s was arrested and taken to Dundalk Garda Station.

The road is closed southbound between Dundalk exits Junction 17 and 16 to allow for a forensic examination.
There are long delays reported on the N52 entering Dundalk and through the town.
Anyone with dashcam footage is asked to contact Gardaí.
