Medicines for Ireland say there are no issues with supply due to coronavirus

The Vice Chairperson of Medicines for Ireland says there will be no issues with the supply of medicines due to coronavirus.

Medicines for Ireland is the supplier of the majority of medicine in Ireland to the HSE and patients directly.

Its Vice Chairperson, Cavan native Padraic O’Brien, said the association is “ready, willing and able to meet the increased demands” that is it experiencing at the moment.

Speaking on The Joe Finnegan Show, Mr O’Brien said that preparations for a hard Brexit has left Medicines for Ireland “in a strong position to supply the increased demand”:
