Minister for Communications unsure about future of North South Interconnector

Minister for Communications Richard Bruton has said that he is unsure about the future of the North-South Interconnector.

He was speaking at Future Jobs Ireland event the Digital Hub in Cavan today.

The interconnector plans have faced numerous setbacks so far, including issues with planning permission as well as objections from people across the region.

The minister highlighted that while he is unsure the project will go ahead, he hopes that it will, as it is vitally important:
