Minister Humphreys meets with company moving to former Bose plant

Local Minster Heather Humphreys has met with the company that recently acquired the former Bose plant in Carrickmacross.

As part of an Enterprise Ireland trade mission to China, Minister Humphreys met representatives from Newbaze, who plan on starting production of milk formula in south Monaghan by the end of 2019.

The Bose plant closed in 2015 and the building lay idle until the Chinese company purchased it last year. Earlier today it was announced that Irish-China trade deals worth over €50 million were signed at the first China International Import Exhibition.
