A Monaghan councillor says questions will be asked if funding is not approved for the CTEK II this time round.

Before the end of the year a third application for the development of the building is set to be lodged for approval under the Rural Regeneration Scheme.

Fianna Fail councillor for Carrickmacross, PJ O'Hanlon, says he thinks this time it will be approved as the success of the first CTEK shows that a second would create jobs and be filled in an estimated 3 months.

Speaking to Shannonside Northern Sound councillor O'Hanlon said he's hopeful as the people who filled the applications for the successful funding allocation in Castleblayney would be doing this one:
