Monaghan County Council seeking urgent meeting with Health Minister over lack of home care hours

Monaghan County Council will be seeking an urgent meeting with Health Minister Simon Harris to discuss the lack of home care hours being made available in the county.

There have been no additional home care hours allocated to County Monaghan since February.

Cathaoirleach of Monaghan County Council Seamus Coyle put forward the motion to contact the Health Minister as he believes the lack of home care hours is an ongoing crisis for the county.

Speaking about the motion, the councilor highlighted the situation that families in Monaghan as well as across the country are facing every day.
